A Spotless Rose

A concert of music and readings at Christmastime in celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary and her place in the story of the Nativity. Including anonymous music and poetry from the medieval period, as well as music by Weelkes, Bruckner, Howells, Britten, Mathias, Poulenc and Tavener, and readings of texts and poems by Brunini, G.K. Chesterton and Thomas Hardy.
