Sam Marston (Tenor)

Sam Marston is a tenor who completed the MMus Opera course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, under the tutelage of Scott Johnson.
Previous engagements have included the role of Henrik Egerman in Opera North's A Little Night Music. He also featured in the Royal Opera House's Lost & Found project, performing newly commissioned pop-up opera as part of the Europalia Festival.
Sam has performed as Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance and Nanki-Poo in The Mikado for the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company at Buxton Opera House. He has recently covered the main role of Tom Rakewell in Grange Festival's The Rake's Progress.
During his time at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Sam performed the roles of Dr. Oliver Sacks in The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat (Nyman), Hérisson in L'Etoile (Chabrier) and the Young Man in a Feast in Time of Plague (Cui).
Sam regularly performs as the tenor soloist on the concert platform across the UK.
