St Machar's Cathedral - Chamber Philharmonia Cologne Tuesday 25 July 7:30 pm

Die Kammerphilharmonie Köln is an 8 piece chamber ensemble who perform regularly around the world with the simple aim of inspiring as many people as possible across all generations to enjoy classical music.

Their extensive and permanently expanding repertoire embraces the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Vivaldi through to composers such as Sergei Prokofiev and the 'King of Tango' Astor Piazzolla.

A diverse program ranging from Antonio Vivaldi and his tremendously famous "Four Seasons" to W.A. Mozart, Peter Tchaikovsky and Niccolo Paganini.

Village Carols Workshop Saturday 4 November 2017

Inverurie Choral Society's second Village Carols Workshop is to be held at at St Mary's Church Inverurie on Saturday 4 November 2017, with registration from 1.15pm for workshop 2 to 5pm. It will be led once again by Professor Emeritus Ian Russell, who was made a Points of Light Award holder on 23 December 2016 by Prime Minister Theresa May, in recognition of his work on re-discovering and supporting traditional carols. The workshop will be open to both singers and instrumentalists, with sheet music/words for the traditional carols provided. The cost will be £10 per person. Further information and application forms will be circulated in early September.

Music in the Sanctuary (Cults Parish Church)

The Sanctuary aims to provide a venue for both established and up-and-coming local performers.
