Rehearsals for the December performance continue on Tuesday 7 October in Mannofield Church ahead of our two week October break on 14 and 21 October. We will be rehearsing Whitacre Leonardo and Barber Reincarnations.

Welcome to Aberdeen Bach Choir's website. We are a friendly, non-auditioning, mixed-voice choir, open to anyone aged 15 or over. Established for over 65 years, we have become one of the city's most respected amateur choirs, performing a wide range of sacred choral music, with an emphasis on the works of J.S. Bach. We usually perform two concerts each year, in April and December, with professional soloists and musicians.

The 2024-25 Aberdeen Bach Choir Scholarship (previously known as the Ellie Pirie Scholarship) was awarded by the North East of Scotland Music School (NESMS) to Eve Begg.

Eve gained the award no fewer than three times while an undergraduate student of Music at the University of Aberdeen and is now studying for a Masters degree at the University.
